Maurice Goodman, who hails from Chicago's Morgan Park High School, was an All-Conference and All-Region player this past season. Now, the talented prospect has pinpointed a dream school.
"I want to play for Miami of Ohio," Goodman said. "They have shown the most interest in me, and the feeling is likewise. I'm not going to decide anything until next year sometime because a lot can happen from now to then. I went to the Army Combine, that's where they first saw me and liked how I did."
Goodman said he plans to attend one major camp in the Midwest this summer, but will attend a variety of camps to improve his overall game.
"I'm only a junior so I still have a lot to improve on," Goodman stated. "I run a 5.2 forty; my coaches tell me I have good technique I just need get a little faster."
He's also focused on succeeding on the academic side of things and has a desire to see a different part of the country.
"I took the practice ACT and scored a 22 on it, so now I just have to take the real test and get things going for myself," Goodman said. "It's not that I don't like my home state, but it's not so bad to get out and see other things either."
