Jimmie Hunt, a 6'0" 175 pound receiver and a four-star recruit from Cahokia, already has an impressive list of schools vying for his services, and now another school has entered the mix. Just a couple days ago the Oregon Ducks asked for more game film of this young star.
"I'm keeping my options open, but Oregon really seems to be interested in me," Hunt said. "They asked me to send them a tape so I did. They should have the DVD by now so we'll see."
"Missouri is recruiting me the hardest at this point, but I'm not going to name a favorite," Hunt stated. "I'm planning on making a visit out there to watch their spring game. Kansas State has picked up interest; they want me to watch their spring game too."
Even though these universities are already hoping Hunt commits to their programs, Hunt told us he's not planning to decide until sometime next year.
"I don't have a preference of what conference I play in, but wherever I go, I want to help them win a championship," Hunt acknowledged. "That's what I'm about. I want to win, that's the ultimate goal."
Hunt caught 34 passes for 905 yards and 18 touchdowns last season as a junior.
