After an outstanding 10-2 season and a berth in the D2 playoffs the Indianapolis Greyhounds continue to roll. This time on the recruiting front.
Coach Bob Bartolomeo has added two All State quarterbacks from the state of Indiana.
Ritter standout quarterback Jake Purichia has pledged his allegiance to the Greyhounds. The 6-1 205 pound quarterback led Ritter to the 2A state title this season. Jake broke the state of Indiana's all time touchdown pass record with 142 career touchdowns and over 11,000 career passing yards. For fun this year he played defense adding 65 tackle, 3 interceptions and 3 sacks.
Bartolomoeo and company also garnered a verbal from Fishers QB Connor Christiansen. The lefty was a four year starter for Coach Rick Wimmer and the Tigers. He threw for over 2100 yards this season and 20 touchdowns. He passed up a greyshirt opportunity from Northern Illinois to pledge to the Greyhounds. He is also an outstanding baseball outfielder.
