A look at record setting Hamilton Heights receiver Grant Weatherford

Hamilton Heights class of 2015 WR Grant Weatherford had another productive season for Hamilton Heights going 8-3. He helpled lead the Huskies a state title appearance as a sophomore. As a junior he put up some eye catching numbers with 49 receptions for 1073 yards and 16 touchdowns. He also had 69 tackles on defense.

How did your junior season go?

My junior season went very well from an individual standpoint. I broke many school records on the offensive side of the ball. From a team standpoint we didn't achieve the goals we strived for and that was a big disappointment. We made it to the sectional semifinal and had the chance to win but just didn't pull it out.

What schools are currently recruiting you?

Schools that are currently recruiting me in no specific order are Ball State, Purdue, Nebraska, Cincinnati, Missouri, Kentucky, and Akron.

What offers do you currently have?

As of this moment I currently have no offers.

Do you have a favorite school at this point? I do not have a favorite school at this point in my recruiting process.

Is there a school you wish was recruiting you? One school that I wish would recruit me would have to be Notre Dame. I have always loved watching them and I have attended many games also. I love the environment there and just the whole entire football program in general.

What schools have you visited?

I have visited Purdue twice, Cincinnati twice and Ball State once.

Do you have upcoming plans do visit any other schools?

At this moment I do not have any visits scheduled in the upcoming future.

What other sports do you play?

The other sport I play is basketball. I have a scholarship from the University of New Orleans and i'm being recruited by schools such as Purdue, Toledo, Yale, and Libscomb just to name a few.

What would you like to major in?

At the moment I am not 100% sure what I would like to major in, however I am leaning towards engineering. This is partially because that is what I have grown up doing working for my parents company. Another reason is that my brother graduated from Rose Hulman and is now an engineer also.
