PREVIEW 2014: Fort Wayne Wayne Generals
Last season the Generals burst back unto the Summit City scene. Wayne compiled a 6-4 mark that included two nail biting losses to Snider. Coach Robert Brown has moved on to Anderson and will be replaced by Scot Shaw. He will have to replace a lot of linemen and the quarterback. The Generals have plenty of talent to make a 5A run.
Versatile senior twins Keion and Deion Powers have started the last three seasons. The duo have played QB, RB, WR, DB and even kicked the ball.
Junior two way lineman Joc Thomas is poised for a huge season. The young inexperienced line will need it.
Junior Auston Robertson (6-4, 215) has a had an incredible summer that saw offers from Notre Dame and Michigan State come his way. Look for him to make a mark on defense as well.
SCOUTING THE: GENERALS POSITION BY POSITION
Jalen Thomas has graduated and will need to be replaced. Junior Andy Roth is the lead candidate to replace him. Don’t be surprised if the Powers twins also see QB reps.
