Carroll rolled through the regular season and sectional going 11-0. Unfortunately for Coach Doug Dinan and the Chargers they ran into a Carmel juggernaut in the regional. Dinan and the Chargers have won three straight sectional titles. The biggest change for Carroll in 2015 will be their schedule. The Chargers along with arch rival Homestead have moved into the Summit Athletic Conference. It will be fun for fans in Fort Wayne to see matchups with Snider, Dwenger, Luers and Wayne. Dinan will have most of his offensive skill players and seven starters back on defense. The Chargers will need to replace OL Blake Yager, OL Ammon Carr, OL Connor Burgess, OL Jeremy Percy, DL Chase Blotkamp, DL Jake Bobay and DB Eric Dunten.
Linebacker Dylan Conner had a great season with 87 tackles. The standout recently verballed to attend Ohio University.
Running back Alex Anzevano rushed for 842 yards last season. Look for more this season.
Running back Nick Parker rushed for 187 yards last season. He also could see time on defense.

There will be plenty of competition on a rebuilt offensive line.
SCOUTING THE: CHARGERS POSITION BY POSITION
Aidan Smith and Cody Dinan began last season splitting time at quarterback. Smith stepped up and threw for 1505 yards. His play drew considerable college interest. In the early summer Aidan Smith pledge to Pat Fitzgerald and the Northwestern Wildcats. Dinan, who threw for 530 yards of his own, may move to receiver.
A pre-season injury to Justin Tranquill (Western Michigan) gave some youngsters opportunity to play early. Alex Anzevano, Blake Schumacher and Nick Parker were all productive.
Senior Hayden Nieuwlandt (20 receptions 368 yards) and junior Jordan Schmeling (15 receptions 170 yards) are back. Look for Senior Cody Dinan and junior Jordan Bridges to play as well.
Senior Jordan Workman (5-11, 200) and junior Jesse Lawson (6-0, 235) will need to be leaders early. You may also see juniors Noah Hines, Caleb Sutton, Riley Krueckenberg and Ryan Nguten.
Defensive ends James Jamicich (40 tackles) and Tyler Lengerich (49 tackles) return. Seniors Manny Ifon and Zach Schaefer will contend for tackle time.
Dylan Conner leads a loaded linebacking core. Seniors Brandon Kimes (31 tackles) and Gavin Pennington (45 tackles) also return. Others possibilities are: Jake Ostrowski, Nick Parker, Chase Walter and Jordan Workman.
Senior cornerbacks Blake Schumacher (7 interceptions and 36 tackles) and Jack Givens (27 tackles) are back in the secondary.
It will be fun to watch Carroll compete in the Summit Conference in 2015. Quarterback Aidan Smith has plenty of weapons to work with in Alex Anzevano, Blake Schumacher, Nick Parker, Hayden Nieuwlandt, Jordan Schmeling and Cody Dinan. The key will be a rebuilt offensive line.
