How did last season go?
Last season was our first year in the 6A division. It's the biggest division in Indiana. We had a good year, but we lost in double overtime in the regional championship game.
What are your goals for upcoming season?
Obviously, my main goal is to lead our team to a 6A state championship. Other than that, my goals include proving to myself that I can dominate my opponent every single play and leaving it out there on the field every Friday night.
Which of your teammates will surprise this year?
Quincy Keller, our quarterback, will surprise this year. He has a great arm.
You verballed to Western Michigan recently. Talk about that process?
The recruiting process seemed long, but I knew everything would work out in the end. I picked Western Michigan because their program is on the rise, and it was the right fit for me as a student-athlete. They will help me fulfill my dream of playing in the National Football League.
What other offers did you have?
Other offers included: Air Force, Army, Ball State, Eastern Michigan, Harvard, Columbia, and Elon University.
What schools did you visit?
I was able to visit all the schools that offered me except for Army, Columbia, and Elon. I visited a few Big Ten schools (Purdue, Indiana, Northwestern) and some other MAC schools (Miami, Bowling Green State, Northern Illinois, Central Michigan, and Toledo)
What other sports do you play?
I played Basketball, Baseball, and Football my Freshman and Sophomore years. I ran track along with Football my Junior Year.
