Marcoreyon Tandy played multiple roles for Christian County this year, wildcat quarterback, running back, wide receiver, defensive back and kick returner. On the season, Tandy had 81 carries for 653 yards and 11 touchdowns in 14 games. He also caught 42 passes for 676 yards and seven touchdowns. He had a total of 64 tackles and six interceptions as a defensive back.
His efforts have earned him offers from Kentucky, Marshall, Middle Tennessee State, Arkansas State, Ohio, Western Kentucky and Murray State. Now Tandy has narrowed his schools down to Kentucky and Marshall. But he may also visit Murray State with a teammate.
"I'm supposed to go down to Murray State with Anthony Hickey and do a visit," said Tandy.
But before that, Tandy plans to make a visit to Kentucky this week.
"I hope to see how the players are and see if UK is the right fit for me," he said.
We'll hear more about Tandy's visit to Kentucky after it takes place, but Tandy also got a chance to check out Marshall two weekends ago.
"My visit at Marshall went great," he said. "I got to see the whole campus and part of the community. I also got to meet the school President," he continued.
"(What stood out most) was how the community was all about the football team," he said.
Tandy will make a decision very soon. Either way, we know Tandy will get a chance to play college football.
"I'm going to make my decision after my last visit, hopefully," he finished.
