After a juniors season that saw him catch 47 passes for 638 yards and eight touchdowns, 5-foot-10 receiver Goose Cohorn has caught the eyes of a couple of college programs.
"We're busy planning Goose's visits and camps for the spring and summer," said Chris Cohorn, Goose's father. "He has been invited up to Purdue for a date to be determined later He and Zeke (Pike) attended the Ohio State – Purdue basketball game a few weeks back. (Kentucky assistant) Coach (Greg) Nord is really interested in him," Cohorn continued.
Like his teammate Zeke Pike, Cohorn has been invited to the Elite 11 camp for receivers.
Cohorn and Pike also competed in last week's Sweet 16 where Dixie Heights fell to Lexington Catholic in the first round, 69-60. They won the 9th Region Title and finished the season 24-3.
