Ayers Names Leader

Tyler Ayers has named the University of Louisville his leader, but is warming to another Conference USA school.

Tyler Ayers, a 6'2 190 pound wide receiver for Class A Williamsburg High School is getting letters from all over for his talents.

Ayers says right now Louisville leads for his services, though Louisville has backed off somewhat. Cincinnati has come on strong for Ayers lately, while Western Kentucky and Wofford are also taking interest.

Ayers has taken unofficial trips to Cincinnati and Louisville to attend football games this season. As of right now Ayers says he has not received an offer, but hopes to soon.

When asked about his season thus far, Ayers laughed and said, "Have you seen our record? We're undefeated!"

Although Ayers plays wide receiver, most schools are recruiting him as a tight end, hoping he can put on the necessary weight.

Ayers and Williamsburg will play tonight in the Class A State Playoffs against Pikeville.
