George Rogers Clark (Ky.) posted an 8-4 season last year, losing in the 2nd round of the playoffs. Junior quarterback Andrew Dini was a big part of the success at the school. "My strengths are bringing leadership and intelligence to the game," said Dini. "I'm a big play-maker. I've got a strong arm and I'm accurate. I can make plays outside the pocket. I make something out of nothing," he continued.
The 6-foot-3, 190-pounder also has a few spots in his game that he wants to tighten up as he prepares for his senior year. "I would like to improve my speed and strength. I'd like to improve on my footwork. I want to make sure I put the ball in a good spot for my receiver to make a play," he continued.
Dini would grade himself as an A-minus for his performance last year. On the season, Dini threw for 1150 yards and 11 touchdowns. He also rushed for 625 yards and 8 touchdowns. His overall play has led to interest from several schools.
"I hear from Kentucky and Louisville. I'm pretty interested in Marshall. I have a brother that goes there. I've been up there a few times. I really like it. I'd say Marshall and Kentucky are the ones I'm most interested in," he continued.
Dini has taken a few other visits as well. "I was actually supposed to go to Ohio University. I had a basketball game, though. I didn't get to make it there. I have been to Marshall. I'm right next to Eastern Kentucky and I've been to Western Kentucky. I've been to UK a whole lot," he continued.
Scout Kentucky Preps will continue to follow Dini and his recruitment in the coming months.
