Henry Clay (KY.) had a great season last year, going 10-3. One of the main reasons behind their success was defensive back Ryan Duzyk.

Ryan Duzyk had a strong season for the Blue Devils last year, accounting for 38 tackles, five interceptions and seven passes broken up. But the 5-11, 180-pound corner wants more.

"This past season I led the team in knock downs and led the defensive backs in the city in tackles. I made All-City honorable mention, but I'm not satisfied with that," said Duzyk.

Duzyk is a skilled defensive back with solid speed (4.59 forty), but he still wants to get better as a player. "Mainly, I want to (work on) my overall speed to become a more well-rounded player," he said.

"My strength is my tackling and ability to read the quarterback and be in the right position," he said.

At this point, Western Kentucky is Duzyk's only scholarship offer, but he is receiving interest from several highly acclaimed academic schools. "I hear most from Stanford, Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Dartmouth, Penn, Western Kentucky, Holy Cross and Marshall," he continued.

Ryan will visit Stanford, Yale, Harvard, Princeton and maybe others for camps this summer.

Getting feed back from the staffs at these camps will help him to improve his game.

"My biggest goals are to improve my overall game by working on my speed, footwork and strength," he said. "I want to make First Team All-State this year and more importantly, win state."
