Abell blowing up

Louisville Eastern is a loaded 2011 squad that should be favored to win state this year. One of the reasons why is guard Remy Abell.

Abell has been one of the biggest surprises nationally on the AAU scene. While he was known locally and even in other parts of the state of Kentucky, Abell is now on the radars of several college coaches.

Abell has picked up offers from Seton Hall, Ohio, Akron, Marshall and Ohio as well as a few others. Indiana and Louisville have shown the 6-foot-4 wing man interest at this point, prior to his senior year.

"Abell is a strong driver that relishes in the fact that he can finish through contact at the rim with either hand," said Scout.com's Evan Daniels. "He looks comfortable pulling up for 15 to 18-footers. A lockdown defender, Abell has a strong frame, long arms and is a pretty good athlete," Daniels finished.

As Abell enters his senior season, he should continue to see interest pick up and new offers should come his way.
