State Recruiting Update
Boyle County High
Lamar Dawson's Boyle County squad is off to a good start with a 2-0 record this season. Dawson has only set up one official visit at this point and that is to Oregon. He's expected to also officially visit Florida as well. Kentucky will make his final list, but may not get an official visit due to proximity.
Lexington Christian Academy
Zach West committed to Kentucky last week. West's addition to the Kentucky recruiting class makes the Wildcats' class one of the best groups of offensive linemen that they have recruited in recent memory. West also considered Penn State and Tennessee.
Christian County High
Marcoreyon Tandy sat out the second game of the season this year after taking a bad hit in practice. He's expected to return to action on Friday. But before Friday Tandy will take an unofficial visit to Middle Tennessee State on Thursday and then another to Louisville on Saturday.
Tates Creek High
DeAndre Bigsby has helped his Tates Creek squad to a 2-0 start with an upcoming game against cross-town rival Bryan Station looming on Friday. Meanwhile Bigsby and some of his other teammates are considering taking unofficial visits to West Virginia for their season opener on Saturday or they may head over to Western Kentucky's opener.
John Heile and his offensive line-mates have been a dominant force for Trinity this season, leading the Shamrocks to a 1-0 start, defeating Lawrence North up in Indianapolis last weekend. Now Heile and several teammates will be visiting Louisville this weekend for the Governor's Cup clash. Heile may also be visiting Vanderbilt next weekend when the ‘Dores take on LSU.
