Bonaparte gets looks, likes offers

Offensive guard Nicholas Bonaparte is getting more looks, but will not overlook his offers.

Nicholas Bonaparte is a two-star offensive guard out of Paul Lawrence Dunbar (MD), who just received his invite to the Crab Bowl. Bonaparte holds offers from Eastern Michigan, Western Michigan and Hampton, and is getting some looks as well.

"West Virginia, Tennessee, UConn, Toledo and Rutgers," are a few showing him some interest of late. And his dream school?

"Penn State. I have always wanted to go to Penn State. That would be a dream of mine. During the summer, we were in touch, but then we got out of contact and school started picking up."

While recruiting isn't his first priority at the moment, he still has his eyes on several programs in addition to the Nittany Lions.

"Toledo is piquing my interest. It's a very good school in the MAAC, and they have great coaches, an energetic atmosphere. You can see everything that comes out on the field."

"I talk to Coach Roberts at West Virginia, and we keep in tough, but I am waiting for the season to end to see how everything goes.

And he refuses to "overlook" his offers. "Western Michigan, I like their coach a lot. My recruiter A.J. Ricker is great. And they are doing really well this season. That was one my first offers, so I definitely won't overlook them"

On the other side of Michigan, "Eastern Michigan I don't know much about, but they are an up and coming program, with a lot of new things on campus."

"Hampton wants me to come down, too."

Bonaparte doesn't have a schedule yet, but will map out a game plan after his senior season is complete. Stay tuned for more.
