Four-star junior college offensive lineman Leon Brown signed his National Letter of Intent Wednesday.
Alabama has signed the first member of its 2013 class in four-star junior college offensive lineman Leon Brown. He signed his National Letter of Intent Wednesday.
The Riverdale, Md., native, who is expected to enroll at Alabama in January and participate in spring practices, spent the past two years at ASA College in New York City. He comes to Tuscaloosa at a good time as the Crimson Tide could use some experience on the offensive line next season after losing Barrett Jones and Chance Warmack, and possibly D.J. Fluker, too.
Brown, who's ranked as the No. 8 overall JUCO prospect by Scout.com, committed to Alabama in June, choosing the Tide over Oklahoma, Mississippi, Rutgers and Tennessee.
Other linemen expected to sign with the Tide are Bradley Bozeman and Grant Hill.
