Jackson Gaining Big Time Interest

Detroit Crockett (Mich.) sophomore guard Marqywell Jackson discusses his interest coming from some big time schools and how he plans to improve his game.

Detroit Crockett (Mich.) 6-foot-5 and 193-pound sophomore guard Marqywell Jackson is one of the top players in the class of 2014. It hasn't take him long to receive interest from schools like Michigan, Iowa State, Oregon State and UNLV.

"I am happy to have them interested in me." Jackson said. "I am eager to receive my first offer. My main goal right now is to turn these different looks into offers over the summer."

Jackson has had the chance to visit Michigan and says he likes the campus and the team.

"Michigan's campus was awesome." Jackson replied. "Campus were great, fans great, basically everything was great. I could see myself fitting in Beline's system."

Jackson main goals right now are to improve on his game and earn his first offer.

"I plan to work on improving certain parts of my game." Jackson said. "I need to work on improving the consistency of my jump shot and I also need to work on my ball handling and overall point guard skill set. If I improve on those things I believe I will earn my first offer and more soon."

Jackson is someone everyone should lookout for. He is versatility player who can be guard or wing prospect for plenty of teams.
