Michigan Countdown: 100-91

Over the next week, Michigan Insider will countdown the top 100 football recruits in the state of Michigan all the way to number one. We start with players 100-91.

100 – Jermaine Prebble – WR – Grand Rapids Creston (6'0, 180)
Creston had trouble getting him the ball over the course of his career, but he proved to be very sure handed and a solid route runner whenever we saw him. Could be the kind of kid who has a much better college than prep career.

99 – Doriel Miller – CB/RB – Muskegon (6'0, 185)
Played some tailback, caught the ball, played defensive back, whatever it took for the Big Reds to win, that's what Miller did and he was a key part of their state title run. He could play multiple positions in college as well, but defensive back is his best spot. Grand Valley, Saginaw Valley and other in-state D2 schools are strong possibilities for Miller.

98 – AJ Whitehead – WR – Wyoming Park (6'4, 200)
Big, athletic wideout who can play a physical game. Didn't have the timed speed to catch the attention of Big Ten schools, but has MAC possibilities.

97 – Justin Cook – RB – Detroit Crockett (5'11, 181)
Versatile back who can return kicks and catch the ball out of the backfield. Could offer possibilities as a slot receiver in college. Probably a D2 type kid.

96 – Demetrius Parker – LB – Detroit Mumford (6'0, 210)
Played tailback for Mumford as well, but is looking like a collegiate linebacker.

95 - Ezekiel Fowle – WR – Hudsonville (5'10, 185)
One of the more electrifying open field threats in the state…makes people miss with ease but tries too hard to hit the home run every play. Still, a very versatile player who could become a poor man's Antwaan Randle-El, tailor made for GVSU's spread, could he end up there?

94 – Timothy Hayes – DT – Warren De La Salle (6'7, 270)
A high potential player who never really put it all together. A project who will likely end up at the D2 level but could be a big time steal with some coaching.

93 – Kevin Battle – RB – Muskegon Reeths-Puffer (5'8, 165)
Short back, but powerful and quick. Lack of size is a concern, but definitely a player who can play some college football. Is looking to make a decision close to signing day and is still considering Miami-Ohio, Michigan State, Michigan Tech and Grand Valley State.

92 – Ricky Thomas – LB/DE – Orchard Lake St. Mary's (6'0, 240)
Well built player who could grow into a defensive end. Is looking at Michigan State, Ball State, Miami-Ohio, Northern Illinois as well as D2 programs.

91 – Michael Booker – DT – Detroit Crockett Tech (5'11, 280)
An undersized, but very quick, penetrating defensive tackle. Is considering several schools including the in-state schools, Eastern and Central Michigan.
