Farmington Hills Harrison has been a football factory recently. Players like Drew Stanton, Agim Shabaj, Mark Dell, Charles Stewart and other have been high profile recruits for the Hawks. One of their key contributors during their run to the state title game last season was RB Norman Shuford.
A smaller, scat back type, the 5'9, 170-lb Shuford is similar to another former Hawks star, current Missouri RB Marcus Woods. Shuford finished the year with 1097 yards on 176 carries, 7 scores on the ground and 2 more receiving. That production and his speed were two big reasons he gained his first two offers recently.
"Eastern Michigan and Western Michigan are who I hear from the most and they both offered me," he reported, "I also hear from Iowa, Ball State and Miami-Ohio."
Shuford will show his skills this weekend along with a number of talented Michigan players at the Midwest Elite Combine at the Pontiac Silverdome.
