Michigan Varsity News Roundup

Prospects from Michigan are hitting the camps and combines and for many of them, it is bringing about offers. Here are some notes on seniors with new offers and juniors drawing serious interest.

GAYMON NOTCHES TWO MORE
Detroit Renaissance WR Sam Gaymon has been impressive at every camp stop he has made. He has, as a result, been racking up offers. That continued this week when he earned offers from Bowling Green and Duke. He also is reportedly close to offers from both Michigan State and Kansas.

INTEREST IN WILLIAMS PICKING UP
New Haven DE/DT Nathaniel Williams recently went to Ohio State's camp and this week is at Michigan. The 6'2, 261-lb Williams was just recently offered by both Eastern Michigan and Colorado. He also reports interest from Illinois, Indiana and Penn State.

FRAGEL A HOT JUNIOR
Reid Fragel, a junior TE from Grosse Pointe South has been drawing some serious looks because of his athleticism in a 6'7, 235-lb frame.

"Yes I am signed up for Michigan's camp," he reported, "as well as Northwestern's one day camp in July, Purdue's one day camp in July, Notre Dame's 7 on 7 with my school's team following Michigan's, and I also attended Notre Dame's elite camp (one day) which was in May."

ANOTHER MACKENZIE STANDOUT TO KING
Detroit Mackenzie closing its doors has led football stars Edgar Pouncey, Nicholas Perry and Mario Stewart to take their talents to Martin Luther King High School. They will now be joined by one more as OT Kenneth Hamilton (6'5, 340) will bring his massive frame over to King as well.
