Top 200 Seniors: 30-21

It is a Michigan State day in our top 200 countdown as several Spartan commits highlight the next ten on our countdown to the #1 player in Michigan. In addition, there are a couple linemen in this group you may be surprised to see, but we think are future college starters.

30 Matt Armstrong G Lansing Sexton
Underappreciated, under mentioned, athletic guard who could get some late Big Ten offers
29 Tyler Hoover DE Novi

Michigan State commit has great size and wingspan, but may have to move insider in college.

28 Cortez Smith RB/S Detroit Cass Tech
Can fill a variety of roles. Impressive as a defensive back this past year, but looks like he will begin his Indiana career as a running back.
27 Mohamed Moukdad G Dearborn Fordson
Outstanding run blocker who plays mean and finishes blocks. Grades may force him to 1-AA or D2, but this is a talented, talented player.
26 Joevall Hoseay FS Oak Park
Great athlete with good speed can play on offense as well, but best fit is as a safety roaming center field.
25 Anthony Woods OT Melvindale
Big body with good strength, Woods has a ton of potential. He is better on offense right now. Technically raw on both sides.
24 Chris MacDonald DE Utica Ford
Future Spartan is a hard worker who has a burst off the edge. Must add some weight, but has a good frame and base already.
23 Sean Hooey TE Hillsdale
Likely will be an OT at Cincinnati, broke his leg this year, but has the agility and frame to become a great left tackle.
22 Tyrone Ward WR Flint Southwestern
Had off-field issues, but the 6'4, 200-lb Ware is a great athlete who goes up and fights for the ball.
21 Austin Holtz OT Holt
Love his game. Holtz is tough, technically sound and should be a standout for Brady Hoke and his Ball State Cardinals.

THE REST OF THE LIST
200 Keaton Wolfe QB Martin
Excelled on varsity for the past three seasons. Tall kid (6'4) with a decent arm. Looking like he will be a D2 or D3 player.
199 Marc Walker RB Forest Hills Eastern
In a school not yet known for its football prowess, Walker lead the team to respectability. He is a solid athlete who could play RB or DB at the next level.
198 Tovalas Allaway WR Muskegon
Often overlooked because of the skill talent Muskegon has, Allaway is a solid route runner with very sure hands. The only knock is that he lacks great speed.
197 David Bellomy G/DT Detroit Cass Tech
Bellomy has been a solid performer for the Technicians. Starting both ways, he is stout and tough. He just lacks the great size that would project him to the next level.
196 Stavon Owens DE Highland Park
Owens is a relentless player who is a terror off the edge. Unfortunately he doesn't have great size, but he is a pure football player who should find a home at some school next year.
195 Bryan Greisen QB Hudsonville
Tough to make the list when you don't play, but Greisen was so impressive over the summer, he still has colleges after him even though Casey Blackport was the starter.
194 Jake Bentley LB Grandville
The next in the line of many Bentleys to come through Grandville, Jake is much like the others, tough and with a nose for the ball.
193 Chaz Willis CB Portage Central
Willis is a good athlete who has played a variety of roles for his team. He is best suited as a defensive back in college though.
192 Cameron Nabors WR Rochester
Nabors is quick and runs good routes. The only knock on him has been his size, but he has toughness despite his slight frame. He should be a solid D2 receiver.
191 Durwin Bateman LB Detroit Southeastern
Bateman doesn't have ideal height, but he finds the ball and is a sure tackler. D2 schools like Wayne State have been recruiting him.

190 Teddy Frommann FB Portage Northern
Tough, physical lead blocker type who has also shown some ability at linebacker and could play either spot.
189 Jared Cowan QB Davison
Not the biggest guy, but can throw on the move and has made good decisions and won a lot of games over the course of his career.
188 Antone Smith-Guise RB Flint Hamady
Smaller back, but is quick and can catch the ball out of the backfield. GVSU is among the interested parties.
187 Nathaniel Hardy WR New Haven

185 Brandon Wilkerson CB Inkster
Had a solid year after transferring from Cass, Wilkerson isn't the biggest guy, but he is mentally tough and is a solid cover man.
184 Jamarcus Martin WR/DB Mona Shores

182 Michael Hollern QB Holt
Smart and efficient and also mobile, Hollern should be a solid D2 pickup.
181 Ramal Roby CB Muskegon
He was a standout for Heights, then was in and out of the lineup this year, but he is a good athlete with some upside potential.

180 Jarvis McKinley CB Muskegon
Very underrated, McKinley has good size and speed and could be a real steal for some MAC or D2 school.
179 Emilio DeFoe WR Detroit Northwestern
Kason Dickerson, Martez James and Anthony Hollis grabbed all the headlines, but DeFoe simply grabbed anything that was thrown his way.

175 Dominic Cundari OT Traverse City West
A part of an outstanding line at West along with Darren Keyton and Rocko Khoury, Cundari is a tough, hard nosed blocker in his own right.

A confident player who is a good tackler, he doesn't have ideal size, but he makes up for it with his toughness .

170 Omar Haynes WR Muskegon Heights
Started late as he didn't play football until this season, but has size (6'3, 190), athleticism and attitude.

Was it the system? Partly, but Plaksa racked up a ton of yardage over his career. He has great speed and can make cuts at full speed.
168 Jason Semmes DE Orchard Lake St. Mary's
Plays defensive end, but could project to linebacker, Semmes has some Big Ten and MAC interest as well as GVSU.
167 Michael Elias SS/LB Ann Arbor Huron
Elias should grow into a linebacker in college. He is a good athlete who has shown ability in coverage and is a solid form tackler.
166 Damon Chisolm WR Southfield
Chisolm has fabulous speed and acceleration, but he must add weight if he is to excel in college.
165 Tony Iacovoni LB/DE Grand Rapids West Catholic
At 6'2, 220, he could play either end or linebacker in college. He has a nose for the ball and a good motor. Western Michigan and GVSU are among the schools in pursuit.

A good athlete who can make plays after the catch...needs to continue to add size and strength.

A big man (6'5, 315), Allen has had MAC and D2 interest. He has the size, but must continue to improve technically.

161 Xam Kuu OT Inkster
A big player (6'6, 290) with athleticism, Kuu hasn't gotten too much attention yet, but he could be a steal as a recruit.

A transfer from Southfield, Scarber has been known for making some tough catches. He has decent size and speed as well.
155 Branko Hamilton QB Troy
An experienced, tough leader and also a tough runner, the only real knock on Branko is his height (6'0).

A solid runner with good patience and a decent burst, Stapleton may grow into a fullback at the next level.
153 Erik Radzilowski G Birmingham Groves
A big kid (6'3, 300) with a mean streak, he has had some Big Ten interest.
152 Nathaniel Justice OT Detroit Crockett
Massive (6'5, 315), but not always motivated. EMU and Toledo are possible destinations. Could be big time if he worked at it.

Has had some interest from Big Ten and MAC schools. Tough, instinctive backer who made a lot of tackles as a senior.
146 Aaron Shavers QB Inkster
Not the biggest guy, but he has speed, quickness and threw the ball well on the run. Which position will he play in college? That's the question.
145 Craig Sacha QB Farmington Hills Harrison

Very skinny (6'0, 155), but a good athlete who can play man to man. Has MAC and Big Ten interest.

Simply didn't get opportunities with Bill Young and Larry Caper, but Williams is quick and fast and could be a steal for some lucky college.

135 Grant Caserta LB Holland West Ottawa
A tackling machine who always seems to be in the right place at the right time.

Recruited mainly as a big WR, Dickerson had an outstanding season at linebacker and could play either in college. Has a couple MAC offers.

114 DeAndre Johnson RB Madison Heights Madison
Size and level of competition are concerns. But he was very productive and has great speed/quickness.

Outstanding player who is simply a tweener as a college prospect. Solid receiver, good linebacker and that is where he'll likely be in college, but must get bigger. WMU has offered.
105 Kyle Brown K Saline
A fine quarterback as well, Brown is slated to be a kicker at the next level though.
104 Martez Dykes RB Ypsilanti
Powerful, bowling ball type back who must get grades in order, but has interest from several MAC teams including Toledo.

Great athlete with size (6'3) and can play a number of positions at the next level. Has a WMU offer, but is looking out of state.

97 Montel Nix-Fleming WR Walled Lake Western

15 interceptions the last two years and he's still somewhat under the radar. A great athlete who has GVSU, Iowa, MAC schools and others on him.
88 Mitchell White QB Livonia Stevenson
Had a strong senior season. He can throw on the move and is a good athlete. CMU, MSU, etc like his dual threat ability.
87 Brent Kryder OT Linden

75 Johnathan Bryant CB Oak Park
Athletic cover corner snagged nine interceptions as a senior and locked down his side of the field.
74 Freddie Bishop LB Carleton Airport
Could be a tight end or defensive end as well, simply a big kid with great speed for his size.
73 Aaron Archie LB Detroit Cass Tech
A tackling machine, Archie is usually around the ball and making tackles. He is a safety/backer tweener but should add weight.
72 Jessie Johnson RB/FB Monroe
A big back with solid speed, this four year varsity starter has MAC and Big Ten interest.

Mobile and tough quarterback. Plays a sandlot style and needs to refine his game, but has the tools. Stanford, Western Michigan and others are in contention.
61 Anthony Anchrum WR/S Detroit Cass Tech
Versatile player who had to play QB at times. Had he concentrated on WR, he would have put up better stats, but a good all around player.

Was great as a sophomore...injuries and having to play some QB caused production to drop off, but he is a strong kid who can run.
59 Troy Tidwell CB Detroit Southwestern

Tidwell is a good athlete who can run. He should be a great return man and solid cornerback prospect.

58 Camerron Cheatham WR Kalamazoo Central
Speedy and great in the open field, Cheatham should be a great fit at Cincinnati.

Great edge rusher, small (6'0, 225), but reminds me of Elvis Dumervil.

Powerful, tough, simply a great run blocker. Isn't as great in space, but he'll be a great interior lineman for Florida International, Grand Valley or some MAC schools.

38 Anthony Mifsud QB Dearborn
Mifsud is efficient, smart, accurate and can run. He needs to fill out (6'4, 175), which will also help his arm strength. The MAC, 1AA and GVSU are all in pursuit.

Had a great senior season. Not great straight line speed, but is a fine athlete whose best days could be ahead of him.
32 Nathaniel Williams DE New Haven
One of the more physically imposing players you will see, Williams is tough and strong, he'll just have to get bigger to move inside.
31 Steve Winston DE Muskegon Heights
Love Winston's game. He's a pure speed rusher off the edge and a playmaker who lives in the opposing backfield. CMU got a good one.
