It is a busy time of year and there is a lot of activity happening around the state of Michigan. We've confirmed some committments, a few transfers and heard a few rumors. Here is latest scoop.

*Birmingham Seaholm RB Trevor Stapleton has committed to Lehigh. Stapelton was one of the Michigan kids down at the U.S. Army Combine last year. A bigger back with good instincts, he could potentially be a fullback/H-back type in college.

*Warren DeLaSalle had two commits this week. RB Chad O'Shell is off to Grand Valley State and OT Scott MacLeod has committed to Eastern Michigan. MacLeod, a 6'8, 275-lber has a lot of upside once he fills out a little more and is a great get for the Eagles.

*Former Bloomfield Hills Lasher star Quincy Landingham, who was at Wisconsin last year had decided to transfer a while back. Now we know where: Landingham has decided to play next season at Miami Ohio.

*A lot of people have written in asking about Muskegon WR Corey Johnson. Right now, it appears as though Johnson will be headed to a prep school or JUCO of some sort before taking his game to the Division 1 level.

*The Cardinals of Saginaw Valley received a big verbal recently as they picked up Rochester Adams RB Josh Renel. The 5'8, 175-lb speedster is also a fine return man.
