Top 75 Juniors - July Update

With six players from the state of Michigan already with FBS (D1) offers, it looks like the state will again be strong next season. Here we have our updated early look at the best youngsters, with several new additions after our camp and 7-7 observations.

Rank Name Position School HT WT
1
Austin White RB Livonia Stevenson 5'11
180
Has some of the best feet I've seen all year. Can take it the distance at any point in time. Has the frame to add weight and that's all he needs to do. Has an early offer from Michigan State that almost certainly won't be his last.
2
Devin Gardner QB Inkster 6'4
190
Yeah he's raw, but there is athletic ability and natural playmaking flair here that can't be taught. Plus, he showed me he can play receiver, which is a nice fallback option to have. Has early offers from Michigan State, Cincinnati, Toledo and Bowling Green.
3
Dior Mathis CB Detroit Cass Tech 5'8
170
Not the biggest guy but he plays like a much larger player. In your face to go along with speed and quickness. Teams will not make a living going deep on him. Offers from Cincinnati and Miami-Fl have been extended with Michigan and Ohio State close as well.
4
Max Bullough LB Traverse City St. Francis Catholic 6'3
210
Comes from a football family and it is obvious watching him play. A human tackling machine with excellent football instincts and smarts. Iowa and Michigan State have offered and more should be coming.
5
William Gholston TE/DE Detroit Southeastern 6'7
242
A lot of potential here, but he is an unpolished gem. Has "can't teach" size and athleticism, still growing into his body a little bit but his best days are ahead of him and his ceiling his high.
6
Peter Rigan OT Traverse City St. Francis Catholic 6'5
270
7
Dionte Savage DT/OT Flint Southwestern 6'5
320
8
Nick Hill RB Chelsea 5'10

9
Jeremy Jackson WR Ann Arbor Huron 6'3

10
Austin Gray LB Warren Fitzgerald 6'2
210
Big hitter has Iowa, Michigan State and Penn State among the early schools interested.
11
Robert Bolden QB Orchard Lake St. Mary's 6'3
190
Some may be surprised to see Bolden not in the top 10. I like him, but OLSM really didn't put the ball up much last year with him as a sophomore. This year will be a better opportunity to see what type of in-game quarterback he is. Has a smooth release and good athleticism as well as early offers from Michigan State and Central Michigan.

As I see more of him, he almost certainly will move up. Has the frame to add more weight and already has the feet and tenacity.

An absolute mauler. Tough as nails and plays mean, only drawback right now is size, but if he gets bigger, he'll shoot up the list.
