Pair of Michigan Standouts Headed to Hargrave

Two of the state's top recruits from the '09 class have landed at one of the country's top prep schools.

Hargrave Military Academy has had countless big time football players come through its halls. The school has not typically had many players come down from Michigan, but that is about to change.

Royal Oak Shrine running back Anthony Cade and Orchard Lake St. Mary's wide receiver Rodney Woodland both attended a tryout/workout over the weekend and made the team.

The 5'11, 205-lb Cade has 4.45 speed and rushed for over 1,400 yards last season. He had interest from Toledo, Central Michigan and a number of other schools.

Woodland is a 5'9, 175-lb wide receiver who was committed to Central Michigan at one point. The speedy prospect was a standout at cornerback as well for the Eaglets. He is scheduled to be the team's slot receiver this year.
