Elliott Picks Up Two Early Offers

With 2012 recruiting season in the books, schools are turning their attention to 2013, and one of the fast risers this week appears to the top running back in his class from Missouri, who picked up two quick offers.

ShowMePreps.com got an update from St. Louis (MO) John Burroughs 2013 RB Ezekiel Elliott 6'0"200 (4.48 forty)  on Monday about his fast rise in the recruiting world, and the speedy tailback has informed us that he has received two offer just this week.

"I got my first offer from Arkansas," said Elliott. "I'm not sure who my recruiting coach is there, but I heard that Coach (Bobby) Petrino himself saw my highlight video that my high school coach sent him, and called back to offer me."

The offer came as a pleasant surprise for the St. Louis tailback.

" I'm surprised that they are the first offer though. Haven't really heard much from them before my offer."

Elliott has a junior day event planned and then today messaged me about receiving his second offer.

" I plan on attending Missouri's junior day on February 11th. I am am looking forward to going up there for that,"he said.

And just today he messaged me, " Illinois just offered".

The talented running back rushed for over 1,800 yards and scored over 42 touchdowns overall rushing and receiving.
