Air Force Offer Lands For Banholzer

The state of Missouri continues the trend of producing a large number of D1 prospects for the class of 2014. We have the latest prospect and his offer.

The Show-Me State is having a lot of college coaches showing up to check out prospects, and it will turn out a possible record number for 2014.

Rolla DT Jacob Banholzer  6'4" 265 5.1 forty, is the latest Missouri player in the class to earn a D1 offer, as Air Force extended one to him.

"I have been in contact with Air Force since last fall," said Banholzer. " My recruiting coach with them is Coach Pipes, and  I will be visiting the Air Force Academy in June. I'm Very excited about the offer."

The athletic Banzholzer has seen schools such as Air Force, Arkansas State, Cornell and Princeton come by his school in Rolla (MO) located down highway 44 between St. Louis and Springfield (MO). He will be camping with multiple schools starting next who are showing interest in him.

"I have been invited and are attending camps at Tulsa, Arkansas State. ,Northern Illinois, Illinois, Boston College, Navy , Yale, Harvard , Princeton, Cornell and Penn.

Banholzer recorded 65 tackles, including 14 for losses, 3 sacks and 2 fumble recoveries. He was among the standouts at the Elite Football combine and had an impressive vertical jump of 34 inches.
