Brown With Two Offers In The Book

Missouri Class 6 state champs, the Blue Springs Wildcats, had a first year QB leading the way in 2015 signal caller Ian Brown. He updates us on his offer and recruitment.

Blue Springs (MO) 2015 QB Ian Brown 6'1" 200 did a great job of leading the Wildcats to the Class 6 State Championship. Colleges have taken notice, which two schools having offered him already. Illinois State and Holy Cross have extended offers, and ShowMePreps.com spoke with him to get his thoughts on both offers.

"Illinois State was my first offer," said Brown. " They hadn't been recruiting me very long at all, really just a week before offering. I sent my film in and about 5 days later they offered and I do feel like there are a few other school that are pretty close to offering. I was very excited about the offer. The first one is the hardest to get it seems like, and it's the one you will remember as your first one, so it's pretty big."

Holy Cross was most recent to enter the Brown sweepstakes.

"I'm really excited about it! Holy Cross is an elite school academically, and there football is on the way up. They have actually been recruiting me the longest of all the schools.

Kanas has also been a school showing Brown interest, and he has unofficially visited there. Mizzou is another school he has heard from.

Brown threw for 2,518 yards and 32 TDs against only 5 picks in 225 attempts in his first season as the Blue Spring starter.
