ShowMeNext 2015: QB Tre Moore

John Burroughs high school has been one of the top programs in the state the past few years, and has produced a good number of college prospects during that time. ShowMePreps introduces you to a rising QB prospect from the state of Missouri who is next in line.

One of the hidden gems in the state of Missouri's 2015 recruiting class is St. Louis (MO) John Burroughs QB Tre Moore 6'4" 185.

Moore stood out on defense for the Bombers with 68 tackles, 3 sacks and 1 INT his junior season at safety, while seeing limited, but productive time at quarterback.

Limited time as a signal-caller will not be the case in 2014 as he will take over the starting job at quarterback, which is good news  considering his QB skills have been recognized by FBU and Elite Football Academy already, along with many colleges showing him some early interest.

His size, arm and athleticism will make Burroughs one of the top teams in the state again this year. caught up with Moore recently to get his thoughts on some of his spring unofficial and junior day visits and teams so far in 2014.

Missouri  Visit:

"I enjoyed the visit.  Not only did they put a big emphasis on winning and competing, but they put just as much importance on the academic aspect of their program!  Making sure that you have good grades to set yourself up for success in the classroom will lead to success on the football field too."

Illinois Junior Day:

"I enjoyed getting to meet the coaches.  They loved what they did, and want nothing more than wins!  What really made the biggest impression on me and I think the other prospects too was the atmosphere that the players created in their first day of padded practice!  They brought the intensity to the point where both the prospects and parents couldn't help but get hyped up.  The quarterbacks also brought their A game.  Still fighting for the starting spot they all looked really good!  It was a great junior day!"

"The hype around Coach Mason is real in Vanderbilt!  While on my tour, I had the privilege to talk to the coach for a little bit as we took our tour, and what I could see what that he was a very humble, yet motivated coach.  Leadership was his big thing!  Though they may be considered in a rebuilding phase with a new head coach and a new approach, they know exactly the direction they are heading in!

Moore took in Mizzou's spring game last Saturday, and has a busy remainder of his spring and summer planned with  trips to Elite 11 (at Ohio State University), Mizzou Padded Camp, Kansas State Camp, Vanderbilt University Elite QB Camp, Indiana camp, North Carolina State University Camp, Notre Dame 7 on 7, Minnesota Camp, Syracuse University Camp, Dayton camp, as well as several  Ivy League visits and camps this summer.
