Southern Nevada Football Stars Getting Offers

We often complain about how late UNLV and UNR have been in getting into the homes of our local Las Vegas Football Stars. It looks like things are changing with the Rebels offering 3 Southern Nevada Athletes Football Scholarships this past weekend. After so many athletes have been blown off by UNLV Football, it looks like the Coaching Staff is finally get out in front of these athletes.

All State DB - Torin Harris of Palo Verde - a hard hitting 6'1 DB has been offered by UNLV this weekend. He has speed and a great knack to get to the football. Expect the list to only grow further for this solid defensive back.

Silverado also has a pair of outstanding studs on the defensive side of the football. Keenan Graham is a 6'3 270 pound DL with 4.5 speed off the football has been offered by Utah and UNLV. He has the grades and test scores to qualify right now. USC has already asked for film on this outstanding DL. He will be camping this year at ASU, Colorado and Cal Berkley. BYU is also high on his list. Expect his list of schools to grow quickly as well. He could be the best football player to come out of Silverado since Ben Jacobs who had a breakout year as Red Shirt Freshman at Fresno State this past year. He will be headed to the Nike Combine in LA in the coming weeks.

Another player to watch is 6'1 DB Michael Wadsworth. A 4.0 student with great test scores is attracting a lot of attention from both BYU and Utah. He is an LDS member, which is causing some pause on the recruiting trail due to the unknown of when he might take his Mormon Mission. He is getting great attention and will also be attending the Nike Combine in LA as well. He has been running a 4.5 40 time consistantly as well. He will camp at BYU and Utah this Summer as well.

ALL State RB Telvin McMillan was a non qualifier at Silverado this past year and will be attending Western Arizona JC this coming season. He is a big back with a great combination of speed and power. When he gets his grades in order, he will be a great find for a D1 school

There are some rumors about UNLV offering another ride to a Palo and Cheyenne player this weekend as well. We will report back after getting this checked out with Coaches.
