Super Skilled SF Takes Another Trip

He could be one of the top players in the country ... the summer will give us a better indication of how he stacks up against the top competition ...

Brandon Costner, a terrific 6-foot-7 small forward from New Jersey, took another unofficial visit last night -- to the campus of Seton Hall. According to a source close to Costner, he and his parents enjoyed the visit. The Costners have been to the Seton Hall campus many times in the past.

It's early in Costner's recruiting process. He has some serious interest from schools across the country too. Costner finished up an official visit last weekend to the campus of UCLA. Costner's dad praised the UCLA visit. "UCLA did a great job in showing Brandon why they would like to have him on their team," Mr. Costner said. "They were very cordial with him." It was only two weekends ago that Costner took an unofficial visit to the campus of Connecticut. Brandon praised the visit and said he was impressed with everything about the Connecticut program.

The next visit will be a trip to North Carolina State this Monday, Memorial Day. Costner is playing at the Bob Gibbons tournament in Durham, North Carolina this weekend. The big question is whether Brandon will also take a visit to North Carolina. As of this story, no firm decision had been reached.

Indiana, Kansas, Rutgers, Georgia Tech, Seton Hall, Villanova, and St. Joe's have been mentioned as possible schools of interest by Brandon.

Brandon's did say that after Memorial Day he expected his son to concentrate on his schoolwork and then proceed to narrow his list down.
