Craig Moore Lights It Up This Summer

Craig Moore can shoot the basketball from deep

Craig Moore, a 6-foot-1 170 pound shooting guard from St. Benedict's in Newark, New Jersey, impressed with his play at the Big Time Tournament in Las Vegas and also at the Showcase in Orlando, Florida. Moore was one of the main reasons why the New Jersey All Stars won the championship game over Martin Brothers Select.

Moore, a dangerous shooter from behind the arc, went for 22 points, including four three-pointers, in North Jersey Hoops' 103-89 win over Arizona-based Run N' Gun in the first round of the Big Time playoffs earlier in the week.

Craig is a zone-buster who impressed with his shooting in the game we saw. He got into a little trouble when he overpenetrated at times, but definitely keeps defenses honest.

Moore said that he has received scholarship offers from Buffalo, Boston University, American, Rider, Monmouth, and Quinnipiac.

"I'm still wide open," said Moore. "I'm going to take a couple of unofficial visits in August."

Moore carries a 3.2 GPA. The engaging native of Dover, New Jersey, plays for coach Danny Hurley at St. Benedict's.
