Chris Andrews Chooses A School

Chris Andrews proved what a valuable player he can be

Chris Andrews, a 5-foot-10, 150-pound guard from Seton Hall Prep in South Orange, New Jersey, proved he can be a key player for the Playaz at the Sonny Hill tournament this weekend. Andrews, competing for the Playaz Black team, hit eight straight free throws to spark his team to a 71-63 win over a Philadelphia-Phoenix AAU team.

"My high school coach said colleges want a point guard to be able to hit free throws late in the game," Andrews said. "So I have really focused on making that a good part of my game."

Andrews recently made a college decision. "I chose Yale for several reasons," he said. "It's a great education that I am getting. And graduates from the school end up making a good living."

Andrews added: "Look, I am not going to the NBA. I want to be able to go to a school where I can get a great education and also play in a good league. I am getting both."

Chris' 12 points showed he is a very capable guard too. And maybe someday we will see Chris helping put mergers together on Wall Street. "That's where I want to work," he said. "I want to get into business and work on Wall Street."
