Tyson Chandler

North Plainfield's Tyson Chandler prepares for this coming season with vigorous strength and conditioning workout.

Tyson Chandler has been getting it done this summer with his workout program. The 6'6/330lb lineman already holds offers from: NC State, Maryland, USF, New Mexico State, Buffalo, Temple, and Cincinnati.

We spoke to Chandler about his off season workouts and his recruiting and he replied, "I have been working with my teammate Devaughn Gordon who is headed to Lehigh. My focus has been increasing my speed and endurance." Tyson is also looking to shave 15lbs of his 330lb frame.

"I will make my decision probably after the season when I take my official visits. I really liked everything about NC State has to offer. The coaching staff, facilities and academics put them on top of list for right now".

North Plainfield finished off 7-3 last year with a first round lost in the playoffs to Rumson. The Canucks lost a lot of senior leadership this past year and look to make a run at the playoffs again this year with a young team.
