Griggs set to run P-Way Offense

Malcolm Griggs of Piscatway High School is preparing to take the lead as the quaterback for the chiefs this season.

Malcolm Griggs of Piscataway High School is preparing to take the lead as the quarterback for the chiefs this season. After watching Rashon Cooper lead the chiefs to the state finals last year, Griggs is ready to take on the challenge of doing the same.

The 6'2 185lb quarterback has been working in the off season to improve his strength and accuracy. The Chiefs plan on opening up their offense to complement Malcolm's athleticism. Griggs will have some weapons to his season in senior's Jeremy Crayton and Justin Blake.

We asked Malcolm about his recruiting and he replied, "Recruiting is going well so far. I have been receiving interest from Penn State, Rutgers, Iowa, E.Carolina, and Boston College".

"Even though I play quarterback, I feel that I will be recruited as a safety at the next Level".

We will keep an eye on Griggs this season to see if he can lead the Chiefs to their second straight final.
