Plainfield Receiver starts season on Fire

Plainfield's Rashon Roach has started the season on fire this year. The 6'0 180lb receiver has been getting it done on the field so far for the Cardinals.

When Rashon Roach entered this season he was expected to have a good senior season and so far he has been putting up big numbers. Rashon is listed as an athlete to most scouts because he can play multiple positions. So far this season Roach has started at tight end, Quarterback, Receiver, Kicker, and Safety. The versatile senior has been extremely effective at receiver averaging 20.7 yards per catch. He also leads the team in touchdowns. We spoke to Roach about his early success and he replied, "I have been working extremely hard in practice trying to get better. I have played all the positions that the coaches asked me to play to help the team". We also asked the Cardinal about his recruitment and he said," I have been getting interest from Miami, Illinois State, James Madison and I also have some interest from schools for baseball". We will follow up with Rashon Roach as the season progresses.
