Brett: My pass rushing abilities are probably my strong point.

New Mexico Insider: What is your weakness as a football player?

Brett: My quickness and my 40 time.  I know I'm fast and quick in a 10 to 20 yard zone but my overall top end speed probably needs to be a little better.

Brett: Coach Labato told me that you might not always like all of your coaches all of the time but you have to respect them.  I think that works with your teachers and coaches as well.

New Mexico Insider: Who has been the most influential person in your life? Why?

Brett: My mom and dad because they have really given me everything in my life that I needed.  They always back me 100% in what ever I choose to do in life.  They have forgiven me with some of my mistakes that I have made.

New Mexico Insider: Who is your favorite professional athlete?

Brett: I love Brett Favre and the Green Bay Packers

New Mexico Insider: How would your coach describe you as a player?

Brett: He would say I'm hard working and I bring a lot of skill and technique for a big man.

New Mexico Insider: Who is currently contacting you regarding scholarships?

Brett: New Mexico, Army, UTEP, New Mexico State.  Army is recruiting me the hardest right now.
