Los Alamos had a good 2006 season. They are looking to have a monster 2007 season. We had a chance to chat with head coach Bob Scott to get his thoughts on spring ball.

Los Alamos had a really good 2006 season.  Heading into 2007 they look to have another big year.  Led by one of New Mexico's top RB's in Ruben Martinez this team looks ready to have a monster year, we had a chance to chat with Los Alamos coach Bob Scott to see what he's looking forward to heading into spring ball.

Which players from last year's team will be the hardest to replace?

"Our whole offensive line will be tough to replace"

Who will be your main leaders on this year's team?

"Ruben Martinez, Jeremy Kasik, Matt Zocco, Scott Teegarden, Martin Romero and Aaron Kilburn"

What underclassmen are you expecting to really step up this year?

"We are really looking for big things from Raul Rodriguez, Zach Mang and also Zak Walterscheid"

What's your overall goal of spring ball?

"Our goal is to try and get everyone to understand the offense and also to get everyone to start thinking about football again."

From a program standpoint, in your opinion do you think it's more important for your lower level teams to win, or learn your system?

"We really feel it is more important for them to learn the system and to get lotsof playing experience."

We really want to thank coach for his time.
