RB Rankings: #4 Chris Garcia

At #4 we have Valley's Chris Garcia. This dynamic playmaker has a real shot at finishing higher on this list. Garcia is really shifty in the open field. Come inside and watch his highlight tape, especially the great move in the middle of the tape! You can sign up for a free 7 day trial offer.

I thought long and hard about the #4 pick for our RB rankings.  The #4 spot really came down to two guys in my opinion.  In the end I decided on Chris Garcia from Valley.  Garcia saw limited playing time his junior season because of an ankle injury.  That injury limited the amount of games he was able to play.  However, when he did play he was a dynamic playmaker, a guy with enough speed to take it the distance any time he touches it.

With the injury his junior season, Garcia rushed for just over 700 yards and found the end zone 7 times.  Garcia is also a very good defender with great explosiveness.  Garcia heads into his senior season fully healthy and looking to make a statement.  He has a great chance to move up in these rankings by the time the end of the season rolls around.  I fully expect him to put up great numbers this year.

From a recruiting standpoint he is hearing from several schools.  He will attend camps at Columbia and Harvard.  Obviously with those two schools being mentioned that means Garcia is an outstanding student, currently carrying a 3.9 GPA.  Standing 5'11 and 180 Garcia has enough size and speed running in the 4.6 range that he will have the chance to play somewhere next season.

I really like this kid; he is great in the open field.  He also shows good vision and has the abilities to make a guy miss.  Watch this clip from his junior season, especially the highlight in the middle of the video with a great juke move!

Here is a highlight video from Garcia's junior season.
