Player Spotlight: Gabe Britton

Silver's signal caller Gabe Britton is a dual threat QB. He throws the ball well and can really run, he keeps teams honest with his ability to break off a long run. We had a chance to chat with Gabe, here's what he had to say.

Silver HS is one of the better programs in the 4A ranks.  Earlier in the summer we introduced you to RB Luke Villalba.  Today meet QB Gabe Britton.  Britton is a threat both with his arm and also his legs, running in the 4.4 range he has the speed to take it the distance.  Here's what he had to say.

squat?

Gabe: Height: 6 foot, weight: 170, 40 time: 4.4, bench: 220, squat: 315

 

PrepNewMexico.com:  What were your stats from last season?

Gabe: 102 completions, 184 attempts, 1312 yards, 7 passing touchdowns, 6 rushing touchdowns

 

PrepNewMexico.com:  What was your best memory from this past season?

Gabe: Winning district, and playing in the playoffs.

 

PrepNewMexico.com:   What are you doing to prepare for next season?

Gabe: Lifting, practicing, watching game film

 

PrepNewMexico.com:  What are your strengths as a football player?

Gabe: Speed, agility, mentality.

Gabe: Size

Gabe: the adrenaline rush in tight situations

Gabe: CJ Oakley

Gabe: Would like to go anywhere that offered me to play

Gabe: District Champs, State Championship contender
