Player Spotlight: Gabe Britton

Silver's signal caller Gabe Britton is a dual threat QB. He throws the ball well and can really run, he keeps teams honest with his ability to break off a long run. We had a chance to chat with Gabe, here's what he had to say.

Silver HS is one of the better programs in the 4A ranks.  Earlier in the summer we introduced you to RB Luke Villalba.  Today meet QB Gabe Britton.  Britton is a threat both with his arm and also his legs, running in the 4.4 range he has the speed to take it the distance.  Here's what he had to say.  What is your height, weight, 40 times, bench and


Gabe: Height: 6 foot, weight: 170, 40 time: 4.4, bench: 220, squat: 315  What were your stats from last season?

Gabe: 102 completions, 184 attempts, 1312 yards, 7 passing touchdowns, 6 rushing touchdowns  What was your best memory from this past season?

Gabe: Winning district, and playing in the playoffs.   What are you doing to prepare for next season?

Gabe: Lifting, practicing, watching game film  What are your strengths as a football player?

Gabe: Speed, agility, mentality.  What are your weaknesses as a football player?

Gabe: Size  What do you like most about the game of football?
