Now that this season is over we are starting to get interview request from coaches, fans and players from across the state. Those requests are asking us to find players that will be stars next season and start introducing them to the state as well. We start that today with Del Norte lineman Nate Crayton. Crayton was great this past season and appears to be one of the top players in the state next season. We recently had a chance to chat with Nate, here's what the talented junior had to say.

Height: 6'0 Weight: 225 40 Time: 4.91 Bench: 250 Squat: 405
PrepNewMexico.com: What honors did you receive this past season?
This year I was 1st team all district linemen and 3rd team all metro.
PrepNewMexico.com: What was your best memory from this past season?
Playing against a really good Eldorado team and hanging in there untill the end.
PrepNewMexico.com: What are you doing to prepare for next season?
Right now I'm lifting every other day. I'm starting to work on my speed as well.
PrepNewMexico.com: What are your strengths as a football player?
I think my will to win and my determination to out work my opponents.
PrepNewMexico.com: What are your weaknesses as a football player?
I get frustrated a lot with myself and that's never good.
PrepNewMexico.com: What do you like most about the game of football?
It's a thrill ride. There's nothing better then to put on the pads and play in front of tons of people.
PrepNewMexico.com: Who is the best player you have ever played against?
PrepNewMexico.com: What are your aspirations as far as playing football in college?
I just want to go to college and get a good education. Football is a plus, education is my first priority.

PrepNewMexico.com: What can we expect from your team next year?
I expect us to play well. I know we are going to communicate well and we just have to work hard this off season!
