Armin Day, quarterback of Albuquerque Eldorado High School, continues his busy summer. Over the past two weeks, the prolific passer from last year's 5A runner up, went to team camp at the University of Colorado and worked out at the University of New Mexico.
Having put his game on display in the west, Day will now head east to hit a series of Ivy League camps. First up is Harvard. Day will head to Cambridge this weekend to attend the Crimson football camp. After the Harvard camp, Day will join fellow New Mexicans, Seth McVey of Sandia High School and Zach Hernandez of Onate High School at the Brown University camp. Brown, last year's Ivy League champ, has hit New Mexico hard of late in an attempt to harvest talent.
In July, Day will extend his tour of Ivy teams as he camps at Princeton in early July. Immediately after camp at Princeton, Day will head to New York for camp at Columbia.
Day's busy schedule has yet to yield a first offer, but with the QBs combination of grades, on the field production and leadership this could soon change.
