Quarterback Armin Day of Eldorado High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico has spent quite a bit of time this July on the east coast camping at Ivy League schools. It looks as if the frequent flyer miles have worked as Day reports his strong showing in Providence, Rhode Island at Brown camp brought about an offer. Brown, last year's Ivy League Champions, likes to throw the ball and it looks as if Day's combination of on the field skill and great work in the classroom are what the Bears need.
Last season, while helping Eldorado to the 5A championship game, Day passed for over 2,500 yards with 36 touchdowns while completing 62% of his passes against only six interceptions. Brown, which scored nearly 40 points a game last season, likes New Mexico prep quarterbacks as Ryley Hegarty of Aztec is currently on the roster.
Day also reports that things went well at Princeton camp recently and he expects to hear from the coaching staff soon.
Here is tape of Day from his junior season
