"Tyler had excellent home visit with Providence Coach Keno Davis and assistant coach Rodell Davis," said Mr. Harris. "We spoke about so many subjects from the academics of the university to the support for the student athletes of the basketball program."
Mr. Harris continued: "Coach Davis laid out a strong plan on how Tyler will be successful academically in achieving his college degree."
Mr. Harris said they also spoke about the basketball side. "He showed how Tyler can help Providence College become a elite basketball program again," he said. "We were very impress with both coaches and their goals they have set out for Providence.
"We like the academics of the school and their style of play in which fits Tyler's style to the way he like to play."
And because of the successful in home visit, more good news for Friar fans. "Tyler will taking official visit to Providence on October 15th," Mr. Harris said.
According to Tyler's dad, Torrel, Harris now has a list of (in no particular order), "St. John's, North Carolina State, Wake Forest, Providence, Iowa, South Florida, and Connecticut.
"After his home visits, he'll narrow it down more," Mr. Harris said.
Washington, Duquesne, Rutgers, and Rhode Island did not make the final cut.
