Underclassman Has Some Division One Interest

Kenneth Coughlin, a 5-10 1/2 linebacker/tight end from Tottenville High School in Staten Island, New York, is a player in the area to watch as he tries to build upon a very successful underclassman season.

The 220-pounder, a member of the 2012 class, is hoping for a big junior season to help produce more division one interest in his recruiting process.

RECRUITING INTEREST:

Currently, he has some interest from Wagner, Memphis, East Carolina and most recently North Carolina State.

DESCRIPTION OF COUGHLIN'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

Kenneth's team is off to a 2-0 start. His first game he has six tackles and two forced fumbles. The starting defense only played the first quarter in game number two.

Also, considered a multiple position player, Coughlin is also the long snapper for Tottenville. He was named to second team All City defense as a defensive tackle last season while also spending some minutes playing the defensive end and linebacker positions.

He currenty holds a 3.2 grade point average as well. We'll keep you updated throughout the season regarding his progress.
