Kenneth Coughlin, a 5-10 1/2 linebacker/tight end from Tottenville High School in Staten Island, New York, is a player in the area to watch as he tries to build upon a very successful underclassman season.

The 220-pounder, a member of the 2012 class, is hoping for a big junior season to help produce more division one interest in his recruiting process.

Currently, he has some interest from Wagner, Memphis, East Carolina and most recently North Carolina State.

Kenneth's team is off to a 2-0 start. His first game he has six tackles and two forced fumbles. The starting defense only played the first quarter in game number two.

Also, considered a multiple position player, Coughlin is also the long snapper for Tottenville. He was named to second team All City defense as a defensive tackle last season while also spending some minutes playing the defensive end and linebacker positions.

He currenty holds a 3.2 grade point average as well. We'll keep you updated throughout the season regarding his progress.
