"He is visiting North Carolina State this weekend," confirmed Mr. Harris.
Previously, Mr. Harris praised the official visit Tyler took to Iowa:
"The official visit to Iowa was great," said Mr. Harris. "Coach Fran has put together a very good experience staff that will help get Iowa back to top.
"Tyler and I were very impress with the academic of the business school which was called John PappaJohn Entrepreneurial Center. We visited the athletic student center that host all athletes who need tutor help," he continued.
"We also toured the new facility that's in construction, the new weight room, basketball practice facility, and basketball office."
But it wasn't all basketball for the Harris family. "We watched the football game against Ball State," stated Mr. Harris. "Iowa won big 45-0."
Then there was some off campus activity for the Harrises. "We had a great dinner at coach Fran's house," he said. "Lost playing pool against a pool shark named assistant coach Sherman Dillar. He beat everyone in the house except he lost to Tyler being a little over confident."
In conclusion, it appears that the Iowa basketball staff did a terrific job in presenting the positives about the school and the program.
"Overall Iowa is a very nice campus," Mr. Harris concluded. "The trip made huge impression on Tyler and gave him something to think about...he will evaluate the remaining top four schools on his list."
Mr. Harris previously told us that Tyler was also interested in visiting Providence on October 15th. St. John's had also been mentioned as a school of interest.
