Kenneth Coughlin, a 5-10 1/2 linebacker/tight end from Tottenville High School in Staten Island, New York, has some decent early division interest in his skill level, according to his family.

The 220-pounder, a member of the 2012 class, took a visit to North Carolina State and came away very impressed. In addition, Western Kentucky and Duquesne have shown recent interest.

Previously, we reported that Wagner, Memphis, and East Carolina had demonstrated some early interest.

DESCRIPTION OF COUGHLIN'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

Kenneth's team is off to a 3-0 start. His first game he has six tackles and two forced fumbles. The starting defense only played the first quarter in game number two.

Also, considered a multiple position player, Coughlin is also the long snapper for Tottenville. He was named to second team All City defense as a defensive tackle last season while also spending some minutes playing the defensive end and linebacker positions.

He currenty holds a 3.2 grade point average as well. We'll keep you updated throughout the season regarding his progress.
