Major Event Set To Take Place In New Jersey

The 2010 Eddie Griffin Challenge is set for this Sunday Octobr 17, 2010.

The three-game showcase will be held at Trenton Catholic High School (175 Leonard Avenue, Trenton, New Jersey). The event opens around 3 p.m. as the top sophomores from New Jersey and Philadelphia compete.

The New Jersey team will be coached by Carlos Cuetos of Team Izod while the Philadelphia team will be led by Warren Greene who coaches Team Philly.

The junior game will be played at 4:30 p.m.

New Jersey will be coached by Mike Heller of the NJ Hotshots and Philadelphia will be coached by Gene Rice of the Philadelphia Playas and Cedric Jones of Philly's Finest.

The senior game will conclude the event and is scheduled for a 6:00 p.m. start. The Jersey Seniors will be coached by Ian Turnbull of C.J.E.O.T.O. Academy and former Paterson Catholic Head Coach Damon Wright, while the Philly Seniors will be led by Rodney Westcott of Philly Assault and Paul Gripper of Team Phenom of Philadelphia.

Admission for the event is $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for students and children.
