New Jersey Big Man Works Through Injury

Reporter Mike Sullivan takes a look at the individual game of New Jersey based big man Luke Piotrowski, who has already made a decision and will play division one college basketball next season ....

Luke Piotrowski, a 6-foot-9, 175-pound forward from Atlantic Christian School in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, told us he has fully recovered from his surgery.

Luke had surgery on his finger and had been sidelined for several weeks.

"I'm able to able to play now so that's good," said Luke. "Our team looks like it should be good this year. We do some drills and play pick up twice a week It's nice to be back on the court."

PREVIOUSLY REPORTED:

"This year I am focused on getting stronger," he stated.

"Being heavier and stronger will no doubt help me immensely at the next level (division one college basketball level). Obviously I will continue to work on my skills such as shooting, ballhandling, defense, etc. There's always room for improvement."

Luke has given a verbal commitment to Richmond.

LUKE'S THOUGHTS ON RICHMOND:

"I have a great relationship with the coaching staff. I also had a great connection with some of the players as well. I really liked the campus. It's a great program and a place where i can see myself contributing so it seemed a perfect fit."
