"Providence trip was great," he said. "We met with the academic advisors, the athletic director of the school and watched the team first official practice.

"We attended a student body midnight madness which was full of lots of excitement an activities. Tyler was able to spend lots of quality time with the players including Boatwright and Chandler.

"Then we watched Saturday morning practice and there was a good deal of teaching by all the coaches."

"We had some good conversations with Head Coach Sidney Lowe, Larry Harris, Monte Towe, and coach Pete about the direction the program is headed. "We met with director of academics Carrie Legger who discussed every aspect of the academic side and their dedication to help all student athletes to graduate.

But there was more than basketball on their minds. "We attended the football game against Virginia Tech which was a thrilling game," Mr. Harris said. "NC State played super in the first half and their fans were great. It was a really tough loss the team came out flat in the second half but the fans were really supported to the end.
