Two-Sport Athlete Working Hard For Offers

Reporter Mike Sullivan provides a detailed look at the athletic career and possibilities for two-sport player Bruce Brittingham, who has competed effectively in both basketball and football ...

Bruce Brittingham, a 6-foot, 190-pound basketball and football player from The Perkiomen School in Pennsburg, Pennyslvania, told us he continues to work hard to improve his individual game in both sports -- basketball and football.

He's considered a very good football player, worthy of division one interest despite his team having a challenging season.

"I just try to work as hard as I can," he said. "I want to work hard in practice and do well in the games."

We previously reported that Brittingham has some division one interest from college football and college basketball programs.

PREVIOUSLY REPORTED:

Bruce told us he was definitely going to take an official visit to Big East program University of Connecticut to play football.

Bruce is also a decent basketball player, landing some low division one looks, according to Team NJABC head coach Matt Pauls.

PREVIOUS EVALUATION REPORT ON BRUCE BRITTINGHAM:

Pauls said Brittingham is a tough competitor worker who improves each practice and game. "He has the heart of a lion," said Pauls.

Bruce competes much bigger than his size. He's on the glass a lot, battling for loose balls against the bigger bodies in the paint and scoring near the lip of the rim.
